Desnudas” which translates to “Undressed” is a Salvadoran talk show that focuses on cultural interviews. It’s goal is to bring into the public arena the conversations that usually take place in more of a gossip setting, like a bar or at an art opening, in a way that allows everyone to be part of. The interviewers are two visual artists in drag. By dressing up they undress the solemnity with which artist and cultural agents usually carry themselves in these types of interviews.
The show was conceived in the middle of 2017. The first season is comprised of 8 interviews of artists and cultural agents relevant to their different fields that weren’t afraid to voice their opinions. A variety of extra content completes the world of “Desnudas” where controversy is always at the center.
“Desnudas” is an independent production that’s come together through Óscar Calderón, Natalia Dominguez, Nadie, Princesito y Lucy Tomasino.
*Doing this show in the most violent country in the world, non war, is no small feat.

logo & design

We chose to ride a fine line between elegant and tacky. Because of the nature of the show, the salvadoran elements and the feminine approach where essential.
For the logo we got the inspiration from San Salvador's landscape and the two beautiful mountains that keep it company.
The same mountains can sometimes been seen through the windows of the set.

set design

Our aim was to create a pseudo-futuristic style. Simple, with the mountain/bra shaped windows and with San Salvadors' cityscape always in the background.
